Dude, if you can make videos like this about distance running, I will keep watching. I am trying to win my high school conference in XC this fall, and need tips on how to get faster. I have been blessed by Christ with a great team and a great coach. I just subscribed, and I will stay subscribed if you keep making these cool videos without cussing and stuff. During my xc season my hamstring started to hurt, and I didn’t think much about it because I was 14 and never really thought about injury. So it became worse after months until my state championship race. I pushed myself insanely hard and knocked off almost 30 seconds of my best time but I could barely walk the next day because of my hamstring. I’ve been in physical Therapy for 2 months now and the pain is feeling a lot better. So make sure if you feel any sign of pain, don’t be scared to see a doctor or take a break from physical activity

I can’t break 18s 🤦‍♂️ my fastest was 18:06 and I thought I’d break but I didn’t I got 18:18 next race and that is just disappointing

In XC you can’t expect to get similar times each race , due to the conditions and variables on each course, other than that consistent training and you will get there

So you have Diabetes Type 1 and run also that fast? I thougt I was the only one with Diabetes Type 1 who could run under 16 minutes in 5000m because I have been searching for a while and could find no one. But no I have😁 My PB is 16:01 but I think I can run this year arround 15:40. (sorry for my bad English)

Australian runner Jack Davies has type 1 diabetes and ran sub 29.30 10km and is only getting quicker. Look him up on strava if you want some inspiration!
