Just doing fast 400s or 800s is one of the best workouts. I sends you into oxygen debt, and after doing it a couple of times, your body will begin to use oxygen more efficiently. Keep doing and your body will become even more efficient. The best thing for training is mix it up. Do fast 400s/800s one day, do long runs the next, do tempo runs, do speed work, etc. That's what I do and it has worked really well.

Hey Zach! I loved this video, but I would have to respectfully disagree on one of the points you made about 600 to go. You said that you should only make a move when you are comfortable too, and I disagree, because when do you ever feel comfortable during a race? I feel that you make a move when the move needs to be made, not when you want it to and you just have to try everything possible to grind it out to the finish.
