What POS do you suggest at all levels of business inventory? Ex. 100 items, 1k items, 10k items, 100k items, and more

I’m looking into opening a bin store. You say you like to purchase your product at $1 with average retail of $10, do you ever take any losses on product or pay over $1 to make sure you stocked store?
@kbomb12353 жыл бұрын
Tom. Two questions for now: 1. What do you do with ‘stale inventory’? Ive been to stores that just allow new stuff to bury old stuff until it’s a hot mess. Do you periodically clear out inventory and resell it as an unmanifested pallet, do you donate it or do you find you move through enough so that it’s not a problem 2. I worry about market saturation before opening a bin store. In general terms how far from another bin store would you recommend? Or do you see it like supermarkets where they can be across the street from each other without issue. Edit: Question #3: what is the demographic you look for in an area you consider opening a bin store. Meaning average income for a given zip code. I know Lutz might not be a good location for a bin store but Lakeland might be. Question #4 what was the main determining factor for choosing your second location in relation to the first? Was it simply a matter of rent pricing? Was it location/demographics? Or was it a combination of those in conjunction with a given distance from your first store as to not cannibalize sales? Question #5: What are the considerations for where a bin store should be with Friday/Saturday pricing? I see you’re at $5 to start. Ive seen others at $6 and some (in South Florida where I’m at) as high as $8. There’s obviously a point of diminishing returns on pricing so I would be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance

Hello Tom ...love your videos ...I’m thinking about opening a bin store in North Carolina! On average what would be your gross sales before any expenses on a 20,000 truckload? Also Do you know of any good suppliers in North Carolina close to the Charlotte area for Amazon smalls truckloads? Thanks again

I am a fulfillment warehouse owner. I used to help customer to do clearance and sell the overstock product at truckloads at 5k. But now there are many big buyers who take all from me. So I can tell why the price is getting so high for a truckload.

What do you do with the left over inventory that remains on the day before restocking? Do you keep them in the bins so that they hopefully sell eventually or do you dump them out and sell the remains locally?
