Looks like the fix I am looking for as I have the idle set @6% on the Tx and switched. Recently runner 250 R seems to have lost it's center. I just fired it up the other day and it pulled to port severely making unable to fly while holding a 1/4 " pull on the stick just to keep in front of me. Hope this fixes this too. Main reason writing is that in a lot of video's the back light/lights remain on in some fashion all the time, I see when you and others disarm, your tail lights go completely out? Is this right? (250 R Advanced GPS / OSD 1080 version 9.) Thanks, look forward to your take on this problem. Blood job on the video!

Very helpful thanks, is there a way to know what those lights on the controller mean when they blink a certain way? having a problem with one motor not having enough power to lift all of a sudden just want to make sure its not the fcs controller issue, thanks.

Is one update newer then the other including both updates? It seems odd to me to install the Low Idle, then install the low battery voltage update. I have never seen firmware updated in two steps on any device before. Usually you get a fix. Then each new update will include the original fix and whatever the new fix is. You mention installing one, then browsing and installing the other...

would you mind explaining to me why the throttle speed starting from 60%. From 0 to 60% there is nothing but the motors are working in a linear speed. this is runner 250 pro with devo 7 transmitter. i am really confused with this.

Does anybody know why after the upgrade the limit of low voltage protection is so low? I have no time for landing after the lights start flashing, it begin to fall despite of putting the throtle to maximun. Before the upgrade the limit it was too high and now is too low!

Do I need to have a particular Windows cause when I downloaded files and try to run the flyconfig the Windows system tells me a problem caused the program to close. I have sucky Windows Vista. I cant open Flyconfig. I have the 250 Runner Pro GPS.

Great video, thanks. The problem I'm having is that everything worked great except I get no progress on the upload. The blue light on the controller is blinking and the red light is solid, just no progress. I've taken out all of the Chinese from the file path. any ideas?

+mattredhead even though you probably did it right some people have had to just reinstall the program again and it has worked. You may have already tried that.

Thanks for the video. Did everything. Got to the point of install and I'm at 0% and nothing happens. Tried reinstall. Bleh. Maybe I'll reinstall again. Would love to upgrade. I have the low battery problem as well.

+Brian Gipe Had the same issue, connect the runner to battery meanwhile updating. that fixed the update problem. I got the english version of the program as well from www.iuasinc.com/firmware/ then used the bin's from walkeras homepage

Hi i have just bought this same model Problem bought it second hand But it is like new I am a begginer at this and not sure what to make of this and do i need to do the firmware update There is not enough power from it and its on 100% throttle The red lights at the rear are flashing Also not too sure about if i have the settings correct on the transmitter ,if this can be restricting it Please inbox me as i would appreciate your help Cheers

+spooner Graham This sounds like a bad battery to me. No power = Bad battery (uncharged?). Flashing rear LEDs = Low voltage. Either by themselves could be something different but that's my take on it. Are you familiar with LIPO batteries, charging, storing etc.? They are temperamental and frankly can be dangerous if treated the wrong way.

Be care before you do any updates. You need to do a create a restore point. This software if a problem will not uninstall.

Have you tried this on a Windows 10 system?? I tried, but seem have another window complaining about .NET (Win10 has .NET as part of the OS). Couldn't figure out exactly what it wanted me to do... any ideas?

+crhea55906 I succeeded installing on Windows 10, and upgraded the firmware. Just change the installation folder name to English something, then it installs correctly. (At least, worked for me.) Then, after few trys, it updated the firmware.

+crhea55906 Yeah I was using Windows 10 in this video and it worked fine. I think like umut said, as long as there is no Chinese in the filepaths anywhere it works. Let me know if you still can't figure it out. :)

I've just checked and you're right. The link on their site seems to be broken. I'll see if I can round up the files. Also we should email walkera and ask them to fix it.

+AeroRC I requested assistance from Walkera about this on April 18, but no response so far. I did locate a firmware update with an older date on the Walkera USA website: www.iuasinc.com/firmware/ but since it's in Chinese, it's unclear if this is for the Runner 250 original, or the 250 GPS/Advance If anyone locates a place to download the firmware, please hit me with a reply. Great Video, I'm having a lot of problems with my CCW Props. They keep freezing up intermittently. I've tested the motors and ESC and swapped them but the problems continues. This thing is a piece of S@#t. It's a horrible product and has worked right from day one. I'm ready to sell it for parts. Anyone interested?
