Mmmmm. Liquifid sewage in "flavors" 🤣🤣🤣. I have a 1994 with hydraulic levelers. My favorite option and will settle for nothing less :) As a former semi truck driver, we were taught to plan ahead as far as you can see, which is usually about a mile on open road. Cover the brake if you may need it as that saves half a second and maybe a life. This worked one time while passing a truck parked with workers tossing logs onto a chipper. One log was too big and bounced back hitting the worker in the chest tossing him into my lane. I had slowed because of the workers and covering the brake, with heavy traffic coming the other way (2 lane) was able to stop 2 feet from his head. Many don't read the road. What can happen here? How can I avoid a disaster? Plan for the bad things...

I appreciate the advice, I just picked up my class C this past Saturday. I’m a first timer and have a lot to learn. Guaranteed my wife will be trying to bring the house with.

I really appreciate your last tip about knowing your rv. I have helped several people just knowing how to get around your first trip in an rv. The last couple I helped had just purchased their second trailer this year from the same dealer and didn’t get a walk around to know that they could shut off their shower head while taking a shower to save water. Thanks for sharing

We set a limit on miles traveled each day-300. Stopped overnight, had supper, made food ahead of time and froze it for road trips. It defrosted while driving.

A tip about steer tires. If you ever have a steer tire start to wear unevenly, find out what caused it and remedy the situation. If they start to cup, you may as well plan on buying new tires. The cupping only gets worse. The steering wheel should always be free of vibration and unusual back and forth movement. I drive with Michelin steer tires only!!! Used other brands and they don't wear worth a darn. After all, steer tires are the most important ones on the vehicle!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I was a mechanic at Silgan Containers for quite awhile, and good. Surprising how much different it is knowing my trailer. I know, sounds foolish but I had to teach myself a lot. Ugh.

We do a cross check inside and out, like the airlines! I agree when I’m rushed not only am I a nervous “Nellie”😊 but our worst mistakes have happened then. Use liquified and release both.

Great video! We picked up our new to us super C yesterday. I was so disappointed with our walk through/orientation. We traded our class A and I was showing our orienteer how things worked. I appreciate all of the great information that you guys share!

There's a weight limit... LOL !! Once i load the #stuff onboard it rarely comes off. I only carry the essentials, 22" Blackstone, Ninja Smoker, GCI table for each of those. 4 Chairs, in case we have company, 2 side tables (need a place to set your drink), Large folding table incase we entertain. Large pop up tent, in case it rains. Basement refrigerator for sodas/water etc, Viair Air compressor/Various Tools/Chain Saw (It's tiny, LOL)/Leaf blower, Two rugs for outside, of course I carry a 25' flagpole to display our flags. Crap, that's just one side of the basement, LOL !! Of course i have more water hose than I need, extra power cord, tons of sewer hose, Blu-Tech water softener and 3 stage filter. The inside, now that's where we have too much #stuff.. LOL. I do weigh the rig at Cat Scales. We are under our weight limit by almost 500lbs so we do have a little more room... LOL !!! Awesome video. We have certainly made many of those mistakes.

LMAO! That is awesome that you are under your weight limit. Thank you for listing all that - you can give people ideas for #stuff. lol

Rate of travel not speed to know approximate travel time. My max rate of travel is 50 even if I’ll be driving 65 the whole way. Love using RV Life pro with RV gps for this reason (not sponsored lol) - few apps let you set your own rate of travel.

Hi Izzy and MJ! I remember when we rented our Rv my brother had to make sure the refrigerator and a few other appliances were working was when the Rv was leveled. That’s a great tip. These are all great tips thank you Izzy and MJ for showing and telling about these tips.

Great advice, guys wish I would’ve saw this video before I got mine gone. Had a bunch of noises moving around when I was on the road , had to make sure things in the cabinets were laying down instead of standing up and jammed up tight so it don’t move. I hate the sound of all that stuff, moving around even in the bins beneath you can hear little bump sounds. I think I got mine pretty much soundproof now love that RV its awesome Looking mineis similar. I have a Itasca 10 cylinder Ford. Great engine thanks for the videos. Looking forward for more.❤

Absolutely, really great advice, MJ and Izzy! You don't know what you don't know until something goes wrong and if it happens on a journey, it can be much more stressful. And you're right, there is so much information on the web, especially KZbin, we have solved many issues just by searching on YT while camped.

Heather ALWAYS over packs clothes, I'm guilty of over packing every tool you could ever use along with extra hoses, connection and other #stuff. Our CCC is over 8k so it helps. Maybe not with fuel

In the news: Explosions rock Black Hawk Friday night An RV blew up in Black Hawk Friday night, bringing chaos to a quiet neighborhood. It's winter people, don't put fire under your RV and expect things to go well. Be careful who you let park in your driveway.
