The game has been out for almost ten years. When I bought MGRR in 2014 on PS3 I had to learn it by myself since no one cared for it on a deep level. I consider myself really good at MGRR so it's nice to see new players help those who actually want to play better and achieve stormbringer trophy.

If the helicopter does respawn at some point during phase 2, you can just stall with ninja run until it's within attack range because it dies within a few hits. If you want him to last, try not to damage him until he reaches phase 2. 80% of the time, he'll start the fight with the qte that allows you to cut off two of the shields. Almost immediately after, he'll put them back up again so have blademode ready prior to him doing that. Then use the sliding attack as he'll put up his remaining two shields up in response, and quickly use blademode on them before your attack can hit him.

I'm almost up to Sundowner, bought the game yesterday, downloaded, installed and updated from 2pm to 10pm. Played until 3:40am and only got off because I could barely keep my eyes opened. I'm still learning to parry and those UG things are fucking annoying because I don't know how to kill them efficiently within 5 deaths.

For Sundowner parrying isn’t very important if you do phase 2, remember that the first horizontal cut after activation blade mode is straight, only move you’re blade for horizontal swing. Also remember to upgrade your HF blade damage

@@Euro.Patriot bait out the cows charge attack then parry it, cut of the mastiffs arms so they can only use the drop kick or kill them with ripper mode

@@mgrtips9813 Update, I am up to Sundowner but he's a cheater and I don't know how to beat him. I can rarely get him to 40%. The whore puts up his shields so I cut them right then it wants to go blade mode again and if I do there's nothing to cut. If I cut I get Muslimd. No matter what I do his shields regenerate. My sword and pole arm are also fully upgraded, I start with no nanopaste or rockets but I have 5 electrolyte packs. The helicopter fucking respawns.

Well a 1650 GPU does the trick so anything higher then 4 VRAM should run the game fine. (and also good cpu and other crap)

Wigs aren’t really useful for the S rank, I just equip this wig because it’s easier for combos

Its easy, sundowner only deals more damage but thats all, its very easy to avoid his atacks and make the s rank, the hard part is trying to cut his shields and not reset because the damn helicopter shoots you :

I have been playing Mgrr for a month. I've gotten many S classes with Sam's sword and fox blade, but sundowner battles and metal gear excelsus are too hard for an S. In fact I always get A.

@@GREATBOYITA For your information, the no damage bonus alone won't cut it. You need to get atleast 1 zandatsu during each of those fights to earn the s-rank, that's why they spawn in basic enemies on occasion.
