The biggest problem with KZbin is their copyright system is not content creator friendly. It favors the person doing the strike and makes it easy to put a claim in but not as easy to fight the claim and in fact it is super easy to make false claims and harder to combat false claims. YT has probably one of the worst systems and they need to change it.
@xVertigo1016 ай бұрын
Exactly, I get random strikes for one-second sounds in my live streams from the game I'm playing. I don't listen to music or do anything that would cause a strike, yet randomly named channels with zero subscribers strike me.

But is there any good explanation for why pretty much 100% are just listening on Spotify to whatever they want and just keep it out of the vod? Never heard anything about strikes. Is like every twitch partner suddenly permitted to use the music?
@Sassy_T6 ай бұрын
I'm a twitch partner and I've had a couple of warnings about a certain song in my stream, but it's just a heads up, I've not had a proper claim, we're allowed 3 strikes before we're nuked. I do leave my music (from di.fm) out of the vods though as I'm paranoid lol

@@Tempaa1 I streaming same time KZbin and Twitch. Im not save music on Twitch VOD but how to deal with KZbin?
@StreamScheme6 ай бұрын
The explanation is in the video, Strikes need to be initiated BY THE RIGHTS HOLDER. The same reason people didn't get in trouble for years, UNTIL a few years ago when suddenly hundreds of people were banned overnight, and thousands forced to delete years worth of clips and content on other platforms. It's like when you're a kid and there is a candle on the table, and you keep waving your hand over it cause its fun and dangerous, you don't get burned every time, but then you knock it over spilling hotwax on yourself and being burned, learning your lesson.

Just record don‘t add your audio as a source. And obviously don’t capture your entire sound. You can change what source Spotify goes to in your windows settings. I am using wave link to control my audio
@emileeellemment6 ай бұрын
@@TobingerAoE Is wave link easy to use? I’ve tried so many things but I get confused so easily lol
@TobingerAoE6 ай бұрын
@@emileeellemment It is for me. You just tell the app what inputs you wnat and the set that input in your windows settings for each app. then you can adjust the volumes and whether something goes to you monitor mix for yourself or the stream mix. I'm... sorry for the stupid question, but I'm brand new here. What about music that's playing inside of a video game you're playing? Is it different since you're playing a game and the music just happens to be there, or do you need to mute the game music?

I know, reading the twitch copyright page, that you are tecnically right, but I still somehow find it hard to believe that so many thousands of streamers, even big ones with 100k+ followers, are frequently using streamelements or nightbots song request feature for years without ever running into issues. How does a live strike even happen?
@StreamSchemeАй бұрын
Someone reports you, someone posted a tweet, etc Essentially, someone just has to notice it It’s why Pokimane watched two episodes of Avatar and then got banned, but others got 30 episode episodes into death note At the end of the day being small means you might not get noticed but you’re still breaking copyright which eventually can come back to bite you and is terrible practice to get used too
