pull everything out that you need from that former C:drive and reformat it because it housed the operating system so that memory space could be claimed. Good Video for reclaiming old tech. Bro i had no disc partition on my old laptop, and all the docs were on C drive, and that laptop stoped working due to some motherboard issue, so if i take the hdd out, convert it like this and connect it with other pc, will the data of C drive will be there?

Hi I have tried this for the first time the hard drive connected easily to a the computer and I just pulled out the usb cable without eject/expel into the system and then when I tried the second time put in the usb cable and search on "this pc" window it shows the D Drive is not working anymore but the "C" drive is there but Doesn't open and when I tried to open D drive it says format disc. Could please explain what happened and what should I do to save my old files in this case? It's urgent and important for me. Thank you soo much
