How to Sample a Manure Pile

Today's #ThursdayThoughts video features our own Dr. Nick Ward demonstrating how to sample a sh...manure pile!
1. Plan to take 6-8 samples/windrow.
2. Scrape the dried layer off the area to sample to access the "juicy" part underneath.
3. Repeat until you've gathered 6-8 samples in a bucket from each windrow.
4. Properly fill out your submittal bag.
5. Submit your sample to the lab in person or by shipping!
