For ANYONE having problems with the keys not corresponding on Serato Sample. The fix is too hold shift and click Z UNTIL ALL THE KEYS ARE CORRESPONDING. What you are simply doing is changing the placement of the keys. Same thing if you having problems with the Drum Rack and your computer keys.

Shit is useful, but they also released it half baked esp for the price. It's missing a lot of features most basic sampler has... I use it often but I always have to pair it with something else to make up for what it's missing. It took then like 2+ years to finally release one update adding velocity sensitivity and more than 16 pads.... The key/tempo detection is often wrong and no way to update it with the real info. No looping, fixed midi mapping- can't customize it so it doesn't map well w/ some controllers

But can't lie, it's still useful, UI and pitch/time stretching are better than anything else out

Jacob Regan I don’t like to speak in hypotheticals. But, I would honestly have to doubt J Dilla would be using this lol. There’s a reason Dilla’s tracks sounded like they did and you ain’t getting that from using an auto chop feature in serato lol. The whole point of chopping samples is YOU, the producer picking, choosing and using your imagination. Not an algorithm chosen by dj software. Like I said the first time, dope beat tho. Edit automation, in Abalten you need to link the DAW controls to the plugin and then map your controller buttons to the Abalten controls.

This is just cheating in it's blantin form. no more using your ear and listening to when a sample strikes you then chopping it and creating it. NOPE! let the program do it. hit a few keys and Wolla you made a beat. To each its own but I prefer finding the sample and using my ears to discover the sound and putting it together from scratch. It's a certain feeling that comes from knowing you done all the work and your own ear discovered the sounds and you took time to chop it and create it.

Start with FL Studio. it's intuitive and easy to use for beginners. I recommend Busyworksbeats he's great. Oh, "OnTheMix" (I think that's his channels name) too. Hope ya'll have fun with it.
