Hi I realize im late to the party but is there a reason why you change from orbital sander to the flat sander or is it just the sand paper you have available Beautiful work Im inspired
@WoodWorkingArtCraft
@WoodWorkingArtCraft 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your questions. There is actually no reason for that change. You absolutely can use both. In the video I use both because I have more finer textures so I can't find them for orbitals sander so I replaced them with flat.

@russellnentwich8745
@russellnentwich8745 4 жыл бұрын
You don’t need different sanders. The big one they were using was a orbital sander it spins and it is more powerful. This allows you to remove material faster. The small sander was a random orbital. It is not as strong and doesn’t move the same. It will do all the work but take longer for heavier removal. The last thing they were using was a polisher that had different pads for it. That is used for polishing. You can get a cheaper one like the porter cable. You he 3M polish will surprise you on the price it is not cheap. Cheers.

Depending on the type of wood you can use with water, you should only use hardwood. It is recommended that you use dry sandpaper to beat them up to a fineness of 3000

Hello sir, can you tell me how many minutes you sanded that area with each grit? and what was the level of the sanding machine out of 5 thank you : )
@WoodWorkingArtCraft
@WoodWorkingArtCraft 4 жыл бұрын
A good rule of thumb is that you can identify with your eyes and feel your hands. There is no clear rule on how long sanding is due to it being dependent on many factors such as wood hardness and quality of sanding. But the trick is to follow a fixed path and repeat it at least 3 times. about the speed of my machine to the maximum with the first sanding steps, to the fine sanding steps I lowered to 1 level. Thank you for asking questions and sorry for my delayed feedback

piss poor operation of that rotary buffer, its skipping and checking like that because you are pushing down on the buffer, you can see that by the strain on your hand that is holding the handle. let the weight of the buffer do the work DO NOT push down on it

In such a way, my rpm is high or low ? Thanks
@derekrobertson2473
@derekrobertson2473 4 жыл бұрын
Revolutions per minute (abbreviated rpm, RPM, rev/min, r/min, or with the notation min−1) is the number of turns in one minute. It is a unit of rotational speed or the frequency of rotation around a fixed axis. So it is essentially how may times aROUND the pad makes. Semantics. No need to be an ass with language.
