when you sand, you also scratch the original glaze. how do you deal with that ?

You has to go lighty when it is almost fully sanded with a very fine sandpaper or Micomech.

Hi, great channel. Can I ask a question? I note you use two-part Milliput for repairs, do you ever use air-dry materials from art shops? Is this a suitable material or are there disadvantages. Thank you :)

Hi Ali, I have been enjoying catching up on your videos. Only a year to go now. I have a question and a request for you today. Are you able to recommend an alternative to the Araldite 2020? That is a little pricey for a non professional. Would you please do a demonstration on how you deal with a crockery chip that has gone through gilding, especially the rim? Thanks.

Hi there, I would use the ordinary glue slow curing Araldite glue. I will also look at doing a gilding video soon. Please let me know how you get on

@@theceramicrepairstudio Thank you for your answer. Of course as soon as I get ready to glue and glaze, it gets cold and wet. I have been going through your old videos. Just watched the one on brushes. You get down to your small no. 2 and I'm thinking: "not sure I have one that large". Too many years working on miniatures. 🤣
