@Xx3piicsxX No I don't think it will be saved anymore. The current from the battery will short the electronic circuits long enough to cause major damage. But let us know of the outcome anyways.

this same trick can be used for camera lenses. Humidity is one of the biggest enemy for camera lenses. Once a lens start getting fungus INSIDE, it's pretty much worthless. So for people that live in countries that's very humid, this trick works as well. THAT said, don't leave the lens inside the rice filled container too long because it can also dry out the rubber parts

I just take apart whatever I can and use a hair dryer. In 10 minutes my phone was back to normal. funtioning and so far no problem. Just make sure you don't blow at one position too long. Look for nooks and crevices areas.

Slight correction. Dropping in a pool is one thing. Dropping in the ocean and saline water is a completely different thing.

that's why they say don't turn it on after you drop it in water, it might work then but there's a 99% chance that it won't work later that's why you put it in rice anyway

If you phone falls in salty water there's no salvation as it is electricity conducer and will certainly provoke a short circuit somewhere on the motherboard. In that case better you look for another one.

This doesn't work. I tried it but it didn't work a bit. The best way is to keep your phone in the case and secure. Because the phones are slippery and could fall off your hand. Forget about so called smart phones. The best is smaller phones. If you are smart you don’t need smart phone.
