You decide to have a family and work even harder, trying so hard to make your child grow up differently and much more comfortably. The parents aren't blameless of course, but it's a common story. It's easy to judge from the outside because you're not involved with their everyday life, the interactions and untold and established dynamic. You just see the result. I think the plot simply wasn't developed enough. It's an ad after all. If it's a movie or drama with longer duration, they may add more stories and characters, etc. For an ad, it's good enough to make people don't want to skip it.

If I were the parent, I would have said: "Oh ya, you are old enough to work. Get a part time job!" I got my first phone when I was 18, signed up myself, I got it because ppl seem to start being late for appointments regularly They can say they are otw when they have phones! Okay, I just followed this ad because I feel really really hurt. It’s hard to watch this without crying, coz you see her whole family is there. They’re whole, they’re together and she leaves them because she feels like they don’t fit her spectrum. All the while there are others out there who have broken families who will be so far from each other on the holidays who would pray for their family to be like hers: whole. It just goes to show how some people become so ungrateful and unsatisfied with what they have when what they need is right there. Thank you for this, truly ❤️❤️❤️😢😢😢❤️❤️❤️

I had my first phone when I was 16 years old. Imagine that! Bought it using money I won in a competition. Phones isn't a necessity. If can, work for it yourself. You will treasure it more. Your parents doesn't owe you a phone just because they promised you one. You owe them much much more for feeding, homing, clothing and most importantly, love u.

This ad popped up mid video & I had no idea why I didn't skipped but it hits close to home. I feel if after 5 secs and you didn't skip this, the ad has done its job. And this observation is not holier than thou attitude.
