Två änglar verkligen. Nu skulle jag gärna vilja se en intervju med din mamma, som låter så vänlig i podden.

Det är roligt att ni två pratar om pengar - det var det första jag lärde mig i Sverige: man pratar ju aldrig om pengar :)

I have been studying Swedish lazily for a very short time and since it has many similarities with German and English and is generally a very intuitive language, I find it so easy to read. I have been studying German for a few years and have almost more reading comprehension in Swedish. I was wondering if you could please do a video about the syllable stress in Swedish words, it makes it hard for me to understand what Swedish people are saying and whenever I speak it, people often think I am trying to speak Danish. I participated in a religious ceremony in Swedish when I was in Copenhagen and kept saying the holy duck instead of the holy ghost. lol Swedish sounds a bit like rapping. Thank you!!

Hi! Yeah if you know English and German, Swedish shouldn't be to hard. The intonation of Swedish words is usually a challenge, and many people might not know that there are two tones for every word longer that one syllable, such as the ones you mention, "anden" and "anden". However, if you say the wrong one, no one will every misunderstand, and I'm quite sure that they knew you were saying the holy "spirit" instead of "duck" :D The system in which the intonation and stress words is very tricky and to be honest, I don't even know how it works so I'm not sure that I would make anything useful on that, unfortunately!
