I really like all your videos and cant wait to see your product line available on Amazon. I would like to make mention though.... I bet the majority of your winter living viewers do not have access to hot running water in the winter as you do in this video. You guys should make a regular weekend warrior detailer video that shows how you recommend a winter wash without access to a normal source of water. Maybe something where you have a 5 gallon bucket as your water source. That would be cool.... literally.

Since I live in New England keeping the cars clean in the winter is a challenge. I have been using a rinseless wash so thanks for this video. I just bought your ceramic gloss and I can tell you I am very pleased. It has crazy good gloss and was very easy to apply. If I get even one month out of it I will be happy anything more than that is gravy on these roads.

Great Video! Definitely Water Spot Remover is needed to breakdown those mineral deposits. Crazy how the sheeting was a lot quicker after it! like you said on a ceramic coated vehicle if it is clogged this will open up the pores. 💯

:O Let me get this straight because I think I’m having this issue as well. My car is coated and at the moment, it only beads well for the upper half of the car unless it’s perfectly clean. Would water spot remover solve that? Or is it just because there is a layer or dirt/salt on the lower half
@DetailingMadeSimple
@DetailingMadeSimple Жыл бұрын
@@kingshivam100 Yes. Unfortunately coatings do get clogged over time with gunk and grime. With a Iron remover and a water spot remover. Will help break down an eliminate those mineral deposits and fallout to unclog the pores. Even if your car is coated usually the rocker panels and lower areas will sheet once cleaned will bead up again. Hope this helps 👊👍

2 questions! Will All Clean strip protection? I've used an all-purpose cleaner on paint once (Meguiar's), and it completely striped protection. The owner told me he had the Chemical Guys Blue Ceramic Wax on. Also, are you using the Foam Pro 2 from IK? Thanks, great video!

Nice video! Any chance you guys can make a guide for winter washing (top to tires) using waterless wash (using DIY detail rinseless) where the car the moderately dirty with salt for apartment dwellers? Reason being, the self service wash near me is about 20 mins drive away, so after heading there to spray down the car, by the time I reach home, it’s not as bad but the car pick up some new road salt / slush making it moderately dirty (and my apartment does not have a water pipe / wash bay at the car park)
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial Жыл бұрын
You can honestly do the rinsless wash method and use your rinsless wash in a big ik sprayer to flush panels almost like a hose. Does that make sense? That way you can do all of these steps but you’ll go through a lot of rinseless wash
@arturia5976
@arturia5976 Жыл бұрын
Yup it does, but sounds like it will lead to using a lot of the rinseless wash concentrate. I thought of buying one of those cordless ryobi pressure sprayer that has a hose which can take water feed from a bucket, but that will mean bringing down a 5-10 gallon water bucket (as there is no tap at the car park) on top of rinseless wash bucket. For now what I do is I spray the panels with rinseless wash and then with the sponge (soaked in rinseless) wipe top to bottom panel by panel, dunking it in the wash bucket between each step. I don’t think I introduce scratches yet but it does feel very uncomfortable. Tires is the worst (and done last because it’ll fully contaminate the wash bucket). This method I’m using though, is very time consuming :(

Just rinse it out and let it dry clay side up. If you’re not going to use it often you can do ziploc but you want to lay it flat so the clay sides don’t touch
