I liked the emphasis on the irregularities and clarifcation of the difference in pronunciation between Spain and American countries.

Hi, Patry, could you please help me... If you have a "v" in the middle of a word, do you still pronounce it as a "b" sound? You are an amazing teacher and you always make it so fun to learn spanish, please do not stop teaching. Thank you.📚
@patryruiz.2 жыл бұрын
Thank you soooo much for your lovely feedback! Much appreciated! 🥰 yes, a V is always pronounced as a B regardless of its position in the word👍🏻😊

@@patryruiz. Is this different in different countries? I've heard a teacher from South America say that the V and B are pronounced differently.

Thanks Patry. One thing you didn't specifically mention is when saying the numbers faster you don't enunciate the 'y' but join it to the end of the previous number so it will sound like the word 'hay' tres cientos cuarentay cinco...you did it yourself , maybe you don't notice you are doing it!

My hotel room number in Malaga recently was 502. I said cincocientos dos to the reception desk. The guy at reception desk corrected me, looked embarrassed for me, and continued in English......Joder. But now I won't forget!

Hola Partry, when did you learn your English, because you're bilingual. Usually people that catch accents like you is because they went to England when they were around 14 or 15 years old. This is not a "sine qua non" rule, but it's what I observed when I went to school in Somerset.

How can you teach me the Spanish from Spain & from Latin America?
@petefarr871817 күн бұрын
It is broadly the same language but there are differences rather like the differences between English in the United States/Canada and other English speaking countries.

Yes, here in Spain you can find mobile numbers starting with both 6 and 7, and landline telephone numbers starting with 8 and 9
