As a hiker i have verbally debated this with people on trail. There's a brand called "cnoc". Theu make a water bladder that is a good piece of gear. All the hiking influencers say it like "see nock". It maddening. Thank you for the vindication!

Go raibh maith agat, a Ben! I have been pronouncing "sléibhte" as "sh-layv-teh. I appreciate the correction. We have the same thing here in the US with "hills" vs "mountains." The Black Hills of South Dakota are taller than the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
