Being Polish I'm constantly surprised how similar our languages are. I think 80% names of body parts are the same or almost the same (like chin - in polish it's "podbródek"while in ukrainian it's "pidbridia". Слава Україні.

Thanks for the lesson, very interesting and useful as usual. I already knew some of these, for example the word for "head" from the hilarious phrase "каша в голові" (I'm going to start saying "porridge for brains" in English because it translates so well and it's funny as well as spot on), and the word for eyebrows from the beautiful word чорноброва, which means "woman with dark eyebrows" = "a beautiful woman"... like Inna ☺However it's a good thing I'm learning the word for "knees" because mine are a chronic mess, and that's something I need to be able to say! 💙💛

Fun fact: In slovenian, we have besides singular and plural also the dual case which almost all slavic have languages lost. Body parts that come in pairs, like hands, ears or legs are an exception and can only be in singular and plural.

Excellent video! However, I am surprised that you omitted the names of certain parts of the body - breast, penis, and vagina. These should be taught, just as they are to 7 or 8 old kids, so that they don’t use vulgar terms for these natural parts of the body.
