idk the intro lighting is pretty sick lol. Really love the comparisons here, this vid is a gem. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. You're kinda my go-to when it comes to the experimental films, so I appreciate your thoughts immensely. One of the weirder things I've noticed over the years is that sometimes the default Epson colors are kinda legit (especially when it comes to red scale and heavy LED lighting. For whatever reason (and maybe I'm the problem) I find that NLP gets confused sometimes when you have weird LED lighting or redscaled film.

I've discovered how tricky novelty films can be, and usually find less orthodox means to do make scans work. Very useful and a good video!

That's a pretty dramatic difference between the colors when scanning. I'm sure this will be super helpful for someone using NLP pro or the Epson. My process is kinda different. I'll scan in with my Canon flatbed with no hue bias and just tweak in Lightroom.

thanks for some good ideas on wacky films, Lomo films are pretty challenging too. i happen to use Silverfast 8 with my Epson and it works pretty good. And i feel better now that i was able to spot the film on my own, well it did take 2 views :)

I haven't shot any revolog or dubble film, but I find myself having to do the most re-scanning with lomochrome and anything that I bleach bypass

Its difficult! I wanted to include a lomochrome in this vid but couldn't find my negatives lol
