Hey my system when it catches an event it'll record for about 30 seconds before the trigger happens... Then for 10 1/2 minutes afterwards. I don't want it to capture that much time because I have to watch for a whole 11 minutes... Thank you.

So just put it in motion detection and it will only record what is motion

Do you have to hit start recording from the live view or does it automatically when the specific time it’s set to record?

Its dose it automatically, once you hit apply after you have set the time schedule.
