Sarah posted another extremely useful video. It is specific, concrete, step-by-step, how to handle a new project. She posts bullet comments, which aid in learning her sucess steps. This is one that I will take notes on, or at least view several times. Very well done. Thank you ST.

This was really helpful, Sarah! The biggest takeaway, for me, is that it will take a lot of trial, error, and experience to find out how long things take us to do, to find out if we're charging enough, and being able to accurately scope out projects. But the guidelines you provide in this video are very helpful. I like how you mention the advice you give students -- telling them to charge a secret hourly rate of $100. This is a very useful guide for newbies because we won't really know how long things take us to do. And it sounds like a good way to factor in edits and other things involved in completing the project. Thanks, Sarah!

Figuring out how to charge so that it is beneficial to you and your client definitely takes some trial and error. But it also it doesn't take too long, after a few projects you will have it figured out. Keep at it!
