Thanks again for a wonderful video MedBoys! Your updated guide is very informative, and the tips are very useful. I’m currently in Grade 12 so I might still have a couple years until I start applying but I think it's always a great idea to stay informed. I was wondering if you have any general advice for someone at my stage. I’d love to know what I can do now to best prepare for the journey ahead. Thanks again for creating these videos, they are always helpful and motivating!

Our biggest piece of advice is to explore different career options to ensure medicine is right for you. We’d recommend speaking to people in different fields directly for these insights. If you are set on medicine, you should establish good study strategies to excel in school (GPA is very important) and explore/develop your passions. For example, if you have a passion for advocacy, try to get involved in that sphere in some way. It’s reflective of how physicians have many different commitments, and ultimately, it will help you learn more about yourself. Hope this helps!
