How to Score Above the 90th Percentile on the PCAT

This is how I scored in the 98th percentile on the PCAT and if you follow what I did, I guarantee that you will do just fine. There's two very important criteria that must be accomplished in order to do well on the PCAT.
1. Have the right study habits. I crammed for 2-4 hours a day in the library for a whole summer. Make sure you really focus when you study and don't just go through the motions.
2. Have the right study materials. I used Dr. Collins PCAT prep and also Kaplan PCAT prep.
Just relax and breathe. Don't worry, you guys are smart and will do just fine.

im a third year biochem student and the pcat was really simple general science. You should be able to recall information quickly. All i did was study off of dr collins and i scored 99 chem 87 bio 75 math (time killed me) and 67 rc with 92 overall comp.

This is very helpful for students like me. I just graduated high school and I have interest in pharmacy since I was sophomore hs. Now, I am trying to know what I need and plan ahead. hi! I had a few questions about Dr. collins self study guide for all the sections. im taking the test on july 9th and I dont have too much time left so I resorted to dr.collins material. But Ive been hearing from people that his material may not be enough to prepare for the test, for example for the biology section. do you have any other advice or opinion on that and how dr.collins material can really help? Im also not sure if at the time you took the exam yours had the "passage based questions" for the chemistry and and biology sections.

I don't think that Kaplan alone is enough. It doesn't have enough practice questions whereas the Dr. Collin's book has a bunch. The practice questions is what really helps solidify the information in your mind.
