Just adding to the clip just before the 23:00 mark.. Another thing to consider there is the goalie’s handedness. They’re more likely to be able to make that save if the far side you’re shooting at is their glove hand, so being aware of the fact that the blocker tends to be a bit weaker is also a factor. Great stuff, man! Keep it up.

Really great video with good tactics. 🔥🔥🔥 personally, i would put the Block/don't Block slider way up (5/10). on a sidenote, the background music is a bit too loud.
@Sapsterr3 ай бұрын
Yeah I agree the music was a touch loud. This is all new to me so I make a few mistakes. Thank you for watching dude! When it comes to the block meter, my philosophy is I rather have my players defending passing lanes than trying to block shots that have no business attempting to block

Use a snapshot in very tight spaces. Use wrist shots when you have the time to charge it up

Hi Sap, hitting a wall in D2. It feels like even if Im playing good enough to win most of my games, I still lose half of them. What do you feel like is the biggest thing that separates D2 from D1 players? Also do you think it's attainable with the right discipline and practices... feeling like maybe just accept my fate and y'all are just a different breed...
@Sapsterr2 ай бұрын
The biggest thing that prevents division 2 players from getting to division 1 is the speed of the game combined with structure. It's kind of like the jump between the AHL and NHL. There's a lot of AHLers who have the pure talent to play in the NHL, but the AHL lacks the structure and speed that makes NHLers the best in the world. So my advice, Be structured, be as fast as YOU can, and then be unorthodox. Show people different looks, if you're always playing at top speed, sometimes you can slow down and change the pace a little. Recognize the AI and where they're going. A lot of this game is just pattern recognition.
@Sapsterr2 ай бұрын
Also, yes you can make division 1, 100%. It took me a year from the first time I made div 2 to make it to div 1. This game is hard, but it's rewarding once you grasp certain concepts
@7vanzzy72 ай бұрын
@@Sapsterr thanks for taking the time to respond. Sounds like some solid advice and I really enjoyed the video. I'll keep plugging away then and hopefully see you in D1.

@detrif87013 ай бұрын
Why not have different strategies for each line? Running behind the net makes it more predictable. Some players are only good at countering certain strata.
@Sapsterr2 ай бұрын
Because in instances where two lines are kind of mixed and matched out there, that they can still have some chemistry and instead of them being in completely different spots than what I need them to be in
@shpankey3 ай бұрын
Why are you running 10 on Carry/Dump? Unless you actually play dump and chase that should be 0 to minimize off sides in my experience.
@Sapsterr3 ай бұрын
The best way to minimize offsides is to not make any sudden horizontal movements right at the line while at top speed. The benefits you get from allowing your offense to get behind the defense far surpasses the extra one or two offsides that are easily fixable
