Hey Macho…love your content bro. I’ve always leased new cars, but last year I bid and won my first “project” car and now daily it. I’m now thinking of flipping cars and your channel has given me extra motivation! BTW - if DOGE really does everything they set out to do, I’m hoping there’s going to be a PLETHORA of government vehicle that go to auction in the next 12-18 months.

I've won a couple cars from gov deals. I really like the simplicity of it.

Outstanding work, man! I like how you always call the cars "she". You have an engaging personality. Also, a certain look with regard to your attire.

Appreciate it! Idk why i do that, i think it just make sense in my head to always call cars she haha.

GovDeals has gone through a few changes post covid. Their auction fee used to be 7.5%...they raised it to 12.5%. (most vehicles ) They now allow "other" entities(other than just government) to post. I prefer to stick to just city,state,county,federal auctions. (like you said they pretty much detail an honest assessment of the vehicle) 2019 was easy picking on Govdeals. The Post Office was upgrading their entire fleet to newer cars and trucks. (they had mechanics going over every car,truck with detailed descriptions of what was wrong) Every day multiple vehicles across the country were posted. It was easy to pick up cars,trucks in the $1,000 range.(that had no faults) Still have a 2003 Dodge Caravan(had 86,000 miles) I picked up for $800 with no issues, and use to this day 5 yrs later that runs like a top. Tougher to fine real value today (but it's still out there....just takes longer to find) Good luck to those thinking about trying the auction route. Watch a few auctions before jumping in. Get a feel for the process.

Great info, I only been using it for 6 months now. Definitely hard to find good deals, but they are still out there! It’s cool to hear from someone that has been using it for so long. Just the other day I saw an 04 Taurus with 170,000 miles (rough shape) sell for over $3,000. So sometimes I don’t understand people’s mindset when bidding lol.

Love your videos. Would you ever consider on working on other peoples cars? It is so hard to find a good mechanic.

Be careful with crown vics pre 2003. They can get holes in the frame! MOstly on the passenger side.

I noticed when you were showing the website search part you were pulling up results from Concord, NC. Are you in that area? I was born in Charlotte, moved to Concord when I was 8 and graduated from Central Cabarrus in '89. Moved back to Harrisburg 5 years ago.

Question bro, when they give you the title do they just fill out their part as the seller and the buyer you can fill out later or do they make you put yourself as the buyer on the title?
@Macho.motors2 ай бұрын
Being that anyone buys from it (dealers included) they typically don’t have you sign the title. But it maybe different depending on the state
@servandogarcia9412 ай бұрын
@ oh really, so they just sign their part and thats it? I was always under the impression that they would force you to put the car in your name, thats why I’ve always stuck to buying and selling cars on marketplace.

IF you lose the bid, are you reimbursed the amount you bid?
@Macho.motorsАй бұрын
You technically don’t pay until after you win the bid. So yes if you lose the bid no charges will be made

Better go get your dealers license my dude. You do know your tax commissioner will not be too happy if you flip a certain amount of cars per year. And by not happy, will levy charges against you which will negate anything you've made. Uncle Sam always wants his cut of your efforts.
