The answer to question @11:55 is B. The 1st pattern is two dots outside the shape in the box and one dot inside the shape in the box. There are 2 boxes with the dot outside the shape and 1 box with the dot inside the shape. The next pattern is the direction of the shape in the box. In the 2nd set, the shape in pointing downward, so this is why I chose B. Thank you for your tutorial.

The Test Question @18:15- The patterns are: (1) the shading or non-shading of the shapes and (2) the movement of the shapes. You now have to get another non-shaded with a shaded shape and a shaded shape. The non-shaded shape and the shaded and non-shaded shapes moved to the left, bringing the shaded shape to the last box, where as it was 1st in the first set of shapes. Therefore, if you continue the movement you will get a non shaded shape in the 1st box of the last set and I am guessing a shaded shape in the middle and then shaded and non-shaped pair will be in the last box. 6:58 question: C I looked at the triangle and saw it rotates clockwise by 90 degrees each move. Next I took one object aside from the circles in the next sequence and rotated it by 90 degrees to come up with choice C. Hope it helps! 👍

If we consider in dot as 0 and out dot as 1, then the first pattern represents 011 and the third pattern represents 101. If we consider pattern as increment of binary numbers then the second pattern can be 100, as 100 = 011+1. C represents 100 in this case. So the complete pattern sequence is: 011, 100, 101.

I have another pattern for the question around 10:00. If you count the number of pieces in each, they are 3, 4, 3, 4, so therefore the answer must have 3 pieces. For the question right after it: C and D are out because we need only 1 dot inside the shape. All the figures must point in the same direction, which rules out A, therefore B. For the 17:00 question, I noticed every shape would be the flip on the opposite side, so B.

I'm confused with 18:29 We know two squares will depict two different figures, and the third square will show those figures overlapping. We also know the squares will not be in order. We can discard B & D immediately. On one hand, in the original pattern, the figures stay on the same side (right vs left) when they overlap. Which would lead us to believe A is correct. However, alternatively, one could argue that in the original pattern the color that goes on top alternates (first black, then white) which would make it black's turn making C the correct choice. Which is it? A or C?

For question 1 (2:14) isnt there also a patterm with the L shaped switching between the right and left side ? so after answer choice c the next square would have the l shape on bottotm but then the L shape back on the top right side?( the L shape also alternates from top to to bottom in that it starts bottom then top top bottom top top etc? I dont understand pattern 2 in that the direction of the L doesnt really change

This video reminds me of State Employee Test of China, everything was based on logic(I wish the questions were easier just like these). Thanks to my degree of engineering, not many good choices for this test. 1 out of hundreds even thousands competitors, only 1 would become the glorious state employ, lifetime employment, never got layoff, paid mediocre but stable. State employ is the "Chinese Dream" for most Chinese parents. I got the highest score for an assignment once, but some people are more equal in China, they have too many bonus points bond to their blood and birth rights. I say fuck it, quit, and stay indoor all days and nights like Japanese.
