Do what makes you feel uncomfortable, start talking in English as much hours as possible to your friend or anyone. If you are still shy than try giving speech on various topics to yourself.

You need a good mix of Hindu Editorials, Articles, Fiction and Non fiction. Start with things you are more comfortable and progress towards everything.
