I am having a very annoying technical issue. This is that when I do the step at 1:11 in the video, the mirroring app instead shows the text "To set up Iphone Mirroring, make sure your phone is near this mac, Powered on, with Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi Enabled, and signed in with the same ICloud Account as this mac." It doesn't show me what it showed you. How can I fix this?

I am having the same issue. Do your iphone and Mac share the same iCloud account?

@@hong-zhouye45 Yes, I fixed it eventually. I just restarted both my computer and my Iphone. Try it and it should work

Open the mirroring app, go to iphone mirroring (top left of mac) then settings, change the authentication type and it'll work then.

mb guys, I fixed it by resetting both my computer and iPhone and u also need to update them both to IOS 15 and 18 respectively
