Would really appreciate your help with a question of mine, I'm in a group assignment (there's 6 of us) and we're all asked to contribute to the recording of our presentation, however we're having a difficult time trying to meet up and record all of our parts, so I was wondering if in case I recorded my part can it be saved and sent to my teammates where every one of them can just edit the record and add their parts to mine? Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm struggling to explain my problem 😅

Hello there - in order to save the recording. Simple right- click the recording on your powerpoint slide and select 'save Media as' (this will save you recording as a media file, which is an MP4 file). Here you can send it to whom ever and have it all edited together. You will need some sort of editing software of course.

Hello, I tried recording a skype call using the powerpoint screen recorder. During my skype call, I used a microphone and a headphone both connected to the laptop jack via a splitter. Now when I played back the skype call video, my voice was fine but the voice from the other end was crackling. It was also faint and sounded like it was a recording of sound of sound that was from outside the laptop rather than within the laptop in effect there was background noise with it. Is there a way, I can make the sound from the other end as clear as my micorophone sound? Thanks

The limitation is that it cant record internal audio from the computer, such as from a video or from a Zoom call. Only if you speak into the microphone.
