How to Screen Share Google Slides in Zoom and Still See Your Presenter Notes

When you lead a class session or meeting and want to present a Google Slides presentation, it's very helpful to be able to see your presenter notes at the same time, WITHOUT your students seeing your presenter notes. Here's a way to do that on a single screen! It also allows you to see a presentation timer, upcoming slides, and enables you to manage audience tools!

This was so helpful. I had to practice with a "practice" account with my daughter. And oh my goodness. She played the worst student. lol But she taught me a really good lesson about classroom management. I had no clue how to mute her or how to get her to stop asking me to let her write on the screen. Just to clarify: if I am sharing the presentation on zoom and keeping an eye on my speaker's notes on a separate window, I will have to click from slide to slide separately on the presentation that is being shared with students and on the presenter's view slides so I can see the notes, right?

What does 'back to meeting do"? Can I use it to flip student view to Zoom participants while I advance the presentation through multiple screens? The presenter view only shows the next, not all and in some classes some slides are to be skipped.

But I watched the recording of the Zoom session and apparently the Presenter Notes also appears on my students' screen. Whatever I share is shared on their screen, so are the notes. So, that doesn't work properly.

Can you make the presentation go full screen for the students without them seeing the tabs in Chrome and still see speaker notes?

You can make zoom share only a portion of the screen and therefore crop the chrome tabs out of the shared window. But you cannot overlay your presentation app with anything else. And it maybe lowers the quality. You will find this option within the advanced settings in the share screen menu.

When i try to full screen the slide, i lost the notes. So, i used alt+tab to get back to the notes but after that, the students then can already see.my notes also. thanks
