For me it’s been an, oh well kind of thing. What happens will happen. The only thing I can do is to try to improve my own personal well being so chances of these things happening to me is lessened. Go to an ENT. Dentists generally skip the neck exam and they won’t biopsy your throat.

I had a partial glossectomy due to cancer from HIV on the side of my tongue. Was a small tumor and caught it early. Go to an ENT for a biopsy, not an oral surgeon. They talk about HIV transmission from oral sex, drinking and smoking, they NEVER suggest you might have gotten HIV due to unsanitized instruments or vacuum devices at your dentist.

When your Doctor examines the interior of your mouth while on a routine check to your dentist; look around and make sure that an “ ORAL Ulcer” is not diagnosed as an oral cancer; without an “autopsy” cancer CAN’T be ascertained.

@@donnakarenedwards2199 so basically the top of my mouth is swollen on both sides and one is usually more swollen then the other and it seems to be associated to my sinuses so if the right side is more swollen then my right side of my nose will be blocked. I went to the doctor and they gave me this nose spray, he said if that didn’t work then we’d schedule an MRI. It seems to have helped but it’s still a problem just not as bad. Do you really think it’s cancerous? This all started from when I used to vape in college. I haven’t hit a vape in over 6 months now because I noticed when I do it gets worse…
