Your final shoe looks amazing, however I'm wondering if there is a way to add lighting and shadows in zbrush for the final render, or is there any other software alternative that could import the shoe and then add lighting. Thanks.

i am new to zbrush and your tutorial is great and to the point, not a wasted second, i usually speed things up or slow down to grasp the idea but yours is on point 100% of the time!!

9:51 to get a better edge, you can use the mask created by the extract function to generate a smooth line around the mesh. You can do this by going to Geometry - Edgeloop - Edgeloop masked border. Then head to the Deformation tab, and polish by groups.

mmm thats a pretty hard question, since I was working on and off on this. But I think its safe to say about a week or two of work (That is motsly because I experimented too)

Really cool tips and tricks! Love it! I noticed you have a different cursor. it felt you were sculpting in VR. Is that a plugin?

Glad it helped x), and actually the cursor feels different because I recorded my screen with VLC. So the pc's pointer is simply invisible ;,) , all you see is Zbrush's radius brush.

Good video but I was expecting like supertechnical usage of Zbrushs tools but Its just simply clay buildup masking and noise maker... It seems so much work for more complex dewigns like super technical detailed running sneaker or crazy patterned soles... Thumbs up tho.
