bro im so confused on how you're tracing the shoe with the vertex alone in edit mode? the only options its giving me is the plane, cube..etc and other options.

Take a plane and select 3 of the four vertices till you have one left then yawing the snapping and shrink wrap modify trace with it using shift d and e for extrude , lmk if that help , if you don’t understand I’ll make a short videos explaining it
