Hello. is that a DIY spray foam. if so where did you get it. also do you have a shot with a FIR camera after.

Hi. The foam you see here is a handheld kit. I don't know exactly where this one was purchased, but you can purchase the kits at the hardware store. I don't have an after IR for this specific job, but I do have one where I took before, during and after. I will try to post some version of that video sometime soon. It is pretty cool to see the foam work in real time.

First, I have had my own home treated with insulation in the attic and we do have a small bump out on the front of our house that was sealed and insulated with closed cell spray foam and we did notice a difference when we had the work done. I also do this for homeowners all across Maryland (I am a contractor) and I would say that I cannot speak for all of them, but I am confident that properly sealing and insulating an overhang (cantilever) that is not correctly insulated will only help with your overall cause!
