On this video I sealed a nice set of travertine pavers. First I cleaned the pavers, rinsed them very well and came back the next day to seal with Deco Products Travacast. Breck Tatum from Deco Products stopped by to give me a hand on this project.

Got to watch about 10 mins of the video yesterday, just finished it and the process is really different for sure. It make sense that you can't just spray the sealer and let them dry like other pavers since these don't absorb liquid. Did you have to change the mop microfiber pad while sealing or was that one pad good enough for this job? That shady area might've made it difficult to see the streaks when sealing them. But as for maintenance from the home owner, they won't get as dirty from the trees and easy to rinse or use a leaf blower to clean. Great job as always. They should have you come back and clean the fence. It stands out big time now.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash

Thanks for watching. I actually changed the microfiber cloth about right the end when we bend that last corner heading out by the AC units. The mop was starting to stick and not gliding as smooth as the beginning. So its great to have 2 mop heads just in case especially for such a big area. Maintenance will indeed be easier from the leaves and acorns. The home owner can easily rinse those off. Yes that fence definitely stands out, the person who gave me the lead actually thought I caused that lol I had to show him the initial walkthrough video. That house needs a good wash as well as that back wooden deck area.

That's what I was thinking, bigger area being a factor. So it starts to stick and not glide well, interesting. Good idea to have a second mop head for sure. Thanks for the info. I have to say since I watched the start of the video and then finished it later I had to go back and look at the fence myself. Lol but I knew you wouldn't have done that and not do something. But that's where having those videos come in handy for sure. So I'm hearing a house wash and fence cleaning will be on the books when they complete the area in the back. That's me thinking positive😁. I'll look out for it for sure.

Glad you put this video up kind of never to do my first Travatin tile stripping and sealing. Going tomorrow morning to get the same sealer hear in Orlando. My question is on the second seal you don't spray it again or did you just touch up the streaks with the Swiffer mop? Also drying time between coats? They came out really good 👍
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
Hey brother. I told ya I was dropping a video on if. On the 2nd coat after I touched up the dry spots that I missed with rhe mop I then did like a real fine mist on top of it. Hold the want like 4ft in the air and just let the mist fall on the pavers. Dry time is quick on these cause it's a topical sealer but between coats it had done been at least 2hrs since it was a big job. But ideally about 30-45mins is enough between coats if it's hot and sunny

Does it matter if it’s too hot out for the product to be applied. Do the pavers need to be dry. I live in Florida. It’s cool at night but hot in the day. In the early morning there is some dew moisture. Does this matter to be applied
