I could easily go through 5 to 10 cans...my house is poorly insulated and very drafty in the winter months...but this also means that we lose our cool air in the summer...locate foam could not only save us a ton of wasted money and energy but allow us to be more comfortable as a family...awesome video Pete

Nicely done! I bought this after a neighbor moved into the apartment next to mine and his chain smoking cigarette smoke was filtering into my apartment making it smell like an ash tray! If you have cigarette smoke or unpleasant food stench coming up through the walls from the apartment next door, look for the water pipes & electrical wiring going through the walls and floors and spray this bad boy in the gaps around them and you'll be glad you did! P.S If you live in a building with multiple units that share the same central AC system, you need to move!

That stuff is great, I had a bit of a learning curve the first few times I used it. After putting too much in the gaps around some windows and the next day it looked like a window inside a cloud! A little restraint sealing gaps around doors and windows goes a long way. Stay healthy and warm and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving Pete. Thanks, DC

Thanks for the chance and good luck to all that enter. I have a home that was built by the previous owner and lets just say they didn't quite follow most building codes or guidelines. So my wife and I are having to re-do several door and window installations. Plus seal many gaps and openings. $250 gift card would go a long way to helping us.

Great video. I recently became a home owner last year and have severe drafts coming in from the cabinets under the kitchen sink. I have a spigot that is located under one of them that leads to the outside to which I think is the culprit. I was looking up which spray foam to use and it seems Loctite might be it. I thought it was a big process for someone to perform airsealing in the home and it turns out you can do some of this stuff yourself. Now the Attic, is a different story lol.

I see in this video foam being dispensed with can in upright position appears to be effortlessly accomplished. The instructions on the cans I purchase (same brand name) reads dispense while holding inverted (up-side down)-- This adds abit of difficulty as to the application of foam. Am I not seeing this video as I described above?, or has this video be designed to to show no hassle while applying foam.

It helps to pack steel wool in gaps before you spray the foam in. The steel wool will stop them from chewing through the foam.

Hi April. Maybe buy a pack of steel wool and shove bits into the cracks, then fill with foam. Or maybe crumple up bits of aluminium foil and then foam? Maybe chewing through steel or aluminium will deter the mice? Just a thought... EDIT: oops, just noticed someone else already suggested this 😊
