Hi Dave, The roller is used to smooth out any air bubbles that may get trapped between the layers of liner and repair tape.

How long after you finished seaming the liners can you lay and fill the liner with water? Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to join an existing pond liner with another liner?
@DripWorks11 жыл бұрын
Of course! The old and new epdm liner materials have to be clean and dry. Clean, prime, and carefully smooth the new liner over the old (original) one. Then using our double sided 2" seam tape and primer, the two liners can be seamed.

Hello, Thanks for posting the video. I am going to use the epdm liner on a small raised square goldfish pond. Normally, I would just install the liner and fold down the square corners, but I am considering cutting the pieces and seaming them at the corners using the method you demonstrated. Would this pose leakage issues? Also, do you know how long the seams last? Thank you much!

I realize two years have gone by since your post. But I was wondering if you tried this and if it worked? Thanks.

Considering everybody and their uncle told me to buy a new liner, instead of trying to patch mine, I’d say that making deliberate cuts is a no!!

How would you repair a crack (leak) in a preformed pond liner?
@DripWorks9 жыл бұрын
Angelo Zullitti - Preformed pond liners could be made of several different types of material such as Hard Rubber or PVC plastic. There are several different ways to patch a crack but it would depend on what his pond liner is made of. Here are some links that I found, that you might find useful: www.ehow.com/how_7738284_repair-hard-plastic-pond-liners.html www.backyardponds.com/advice/repairs.html If it’s a small hole, puncture, or tear, our repair kit will do. For a crack larger than a few inches, the 25' of seam tape will be the product to try. You will need to clean the area and make sure its dry too. www.dripworks.com/product/PDREPAIR www.dripworks.com/product/Q_PDSEAM

Hi, I have a 100 acre land and I want to build a small river on it. The river will be about 1000' long and 15' wide, about 3' deep. Actually the river is longer than that but it will be divided into sections and the above is the longest section. Is it possible to get one continuous piece of liner? Can I special order it from the company? I would love to avoid all that joining work and risk leaking.
@DripWorks9 жыл бұрын
sfbluestar Hi, Thanks for your question. Yes, it is possible to get one continuous piece of liner but it would be a Reinforced Polyethylene pond liner. The mil would depend on the soil type. The 30 or 40 mil would be best if the soil is rocky and or people or animals will be in it. The 24 mil would work if it’s just dirt with no sharp rocks. The most common used for this type of situation is the 24 or 30 mil. I recommend calling us at 1-800-522-3747 to get specifics on price and shipping options.

Easy on a flat table...clean etc. Pond liners are creased...and vertical...not so easy to manage.
