So once one has joined the squares’ edges and one has a long strip, how does one join the strips to one another? Does one try to have a really long length of yarn to span the strip or is it just each square joined to the adjacent square above it? Also, I’m using Noro Kureyon, which is a bit hairy so some tutorials say not to use mattress stitch because the yarn is not smooth so when one pulls it doesn’t “zip up”. Thank you and thanks for your video.

how did you make these double coloured garter stitch squares in the first place? They look so beautiful. is it made from corner to corner? how was the gray coloured diagonal made? do you have a tutorial for that? please teach that , if possible. Thanks for this tutorial.

These blocks are all knit, and they are on the diagonal (corner to corner) starting with one stitch increasing to the widest point and then deceasing back down to one stitch. The pattern can be found on Ravelry.com and on Tin Can Knits site.

How do you tie off the ends once the seam is finished? Thanks!

Weave it into the pattern a bit then snip the yarn close to the work.
