Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item kzbin.infoUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

I always feel pressure in my lower back. I've tried engaging my core and being sure to hold on to the hand grips but still feel like my lower back is straining. Any tips?

So basically I curl by bending the knees? Or am I supposed to push the pad down with my ankles/heels? I watched a different video where the guy said to curl by flexing the hamstrings? Which one is the correct way?

Thanks for going through this tutorial, very useful. A note on the video - it would have been good to provide a better colour contrast in clothing to equipment (and improved lighting) to better highlight exact positioning and motion.

Thanks for the tip! We agree - this is an older video and in our more recent videos, we have really improved our lighting and taken the clothing contrast into more consideration!

Thank you for this. I hope I'm not a few too many years late and this comment will be seen. Any reason why the last time I did this I got major hip flexor pain/pump? I was doing glute/banded stuff before which may have added to it, or maybe the green bar wasn't in line with my knee like you suggested. Thank you!

Hey Miami, you're not too late! What could be happening is that you're lifting your hips up as you performing the concentric portion (bending at the knee). What you'll want to change is pushing your hands hard into the handles to push yourself into the back pad & be slow when initiating the beginning of the concentric & begin to accelerate as you break about 15 degrees of knee flexion & you should be all fixed up! :)

Every time I do this exercise, I have pain in my right leg behind the knee area, almost like a nerve pain? Maybe it’s just my body or I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Are feet to be flexed or relaxed during this exercise?

It could be that you're rushing out of the top, try being slow to initiate then accelerating as you reach maybe 15 degrees or so of knee flexion. I would recommend slightly flexed for your feet.

i have a Question whenever i do hamstring curl i get pain in my ligaments at the back of the knee? I always warmup my hamstring , quads before hitting my legs? it hurts especially when i press the ligaments my self

It could be a myriad of different things, I would guess that you may be hyperextending at the knee at the top of the movement possibly. If you follow the cues provided in this video, you will be a great path to better executing the exercise.

It could be all sort of things. Pain around the knee can be the result of poor stability in the quads, or even the ankles. So make sure you provide enough training on those muscles as well! Definitely check out kneesovertoesguy's youtube channel, or squat university. They really provide helpful instructions on how to work provide better stability for your knees, ankles, and all the other muscles as well.

@@PhysiqueDevelopment a question good sir, when doing these does the leg when doing flexion does the leg go directly lined with the the thigh all the way to the end of should let me foot go more in when contracting the muscle or more out. Or should I stay directly under my quad ? Thanks hopefully it makes sense

I got testicle pain after doing this, squished my balls. I remember the ankle pad being above my ankle, was this the reason for it being uncomfortable?
