Thank you thank you thank you!!! This is my favorite tv show of all time. I'm even writing an essay on this show, and an entire section is dedicated to Hank's "seduction" style being a misnomer. In most media, if a male character sleeps with many women he's either a player or a lady's man: Hank is the latter. His personality and lifestyle is conducive to hooking up with women but he rarely is ever being the pursuer. Some other seductions to break down i would like to see are his teaching assistant from season 3, and Faith from season 6. Take it easy Todd!

Some hookups in the show are straight up ridiculous, like the woman in Season 1 who gives him her number at a stop light, or when (during a montage at the end of Season 4) he bangs the actress playing his long time girlfriend in on the set of the filming of his book. But a smooth and valuable guy like Hank will naturally have women throwing themselves at him. I heard (1) "high risk tolerance" and a few minutes later (2) "high value asshole"...and that was just a few phrases within the first 18min. This is gold because its true even when sliced and diced into bits like this: High value assholes do often have high risk tolerance and not necessarily bc they're "out of control jerks"; it's bc of their abundance mindset or schema that was ingrained into them when they were growing up, ot something they developed later, whatever the case...its fun to watch the difference between a dude who has a lot of the secret sauce and another who doesn't have a clue and it's sad bc you know they're probably a "hard case". That's all.

Question for Todd and anybody who reads. Is it possible to become that competent, sexual male in your late 20s? A bit of context, I come from an upbringing where sex was not taught as a natural fact, but rather seen as a luxury (my parents being both very insecure, only really had 2 partners each). Also in education I never had that pressure/stimulation because I was always peered with the more naive kids. TLDR: I'm not a natural when it comes to seduction or being sexual. I do have an n-count but obviously short, and only had one real long-term gf. This year I decided I want to become my best version, I've started working out and learning to be more playful in general. I'm not giving up but at times it feels like what it's actually like: I'm years behind the curve. In this regard, is it possible to be that late boomer and actually make it work? Has anybody done this successfully?
