OK, first of all I know this is extremely random since these videos are three years old. But it’s better than a Netflix binge watch for me now. Secondly, very cute story, but the lesson SHOULD have been don’t get on the horse in the first place because your mother told you not to! Lol

That exactly what I was thinking about the lesson 😂

Hahaha I just saw this comment and a) thank you so much for the high praise! Our videos have definitely improved in quality over the years but that means a lot! And b) you're absolutely right and my mom would agree! 😂🙌❤️

I'm from Texas and my family lives fairly close to the forest, but we are always in a rush when visiting. Stopping and seeing these butterflies has been on my bucket list for years. I hope one day I get to stop by and see this beautiful phenomenon.

It is ABSOLUTELY worth the stop! We can't wait to return and explore one of the other preserves (each one is so unique). Thanks so much for watching, hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard

Oh my gosh, so many butterflies! not gonna lie, I would be rather terrified. Moths freak me out and butterflies are kinda similar. It's wonderful that you got to witness such a natural phenomenon. Horseback looks like such a peaceful way to witness it as well. Monarch butterflies are so beautiful. I love the slow motion shots you got of them!

Ella, thanks so much for watching, and glad you enjoyed this episode! The Monarchs were a major bucket list item for us, and it is absolutely incredible and peaceful to see millions of them flying through the trees. Hopefully you wouldn't freak out, it's totally worth it! -Howard

Now it makes sense !!! While being filmed on horseback, Howard aka Drunk Howard, provided viewers with a bouncey/swaying footage which synced up with " his reality " !!! Howard with his " drunken effect " will go down in history while being performed on horseback. There has to be a Emmy Award for such filmmaking " state of mind " of what the next day after having been out drinking with your friends ( huh, that rings a bell ) !!! You rock Drunk Howard, ...... and sway, and bobble !!! Great videos !!! Always, Syn Silver.

Hahaha, Syn Silver you have nailed it. Drunken Effect on Horseback was EXACTLY what I was going for that day. 😂 Thanks for watching, and love your perspective! -Howard

That looked like a lot of fun go up on horses and then hiking to see the butterflies. That is so awesome. The food looked good. And it was not expensive. Not bad. Glad you had a great time. The butterflies were beautiful. I love butterflies. I used to see them a lot back home in Michigan but I see very few here in Vegas. I just love them especially the colorful ones. But they are all beautiful in their one special way. Thank you for this video. Stay safe and travel safe.

I love that the lesson is "stay on the horse" not "listen to your parents" LOL

This reminds me of the same thing what they did with Taal volcano. But those butterflies are brilliant. What time of the year those this happens? I have only seen those images before in documentaries

The butterflies winter in specific parts of Mexico, but peak time to see them they say is February right before they start their migrations North again. Such an incredible experience, and at the top of my bucket list for Mexico. So glad you enjoyed the experience, thanks for watching! -Howard
