I love how Thailand is very broad-minded and friendly to the LGBTQ community, especially that there's a lot of ladyboys. Very soon, Thailand is going to become the first South East Asian country to recognise same-sex marriage 🏳️🌈♥️

so did you have your hotel in Phuket when you traveled to Maya Bay or did you stay and get a hotel in Koh Phi Phi? Confusing because you said you guys hiked one day and then went to maya the next. We are coming from the US. After a week in Koh Phi Phi we then want to go to Bankok for 3 weeks. If you stayed in Koh Phi Phi what hotel do you recommend? Thanks!

Hey! Yes we spent two nights in Koh Phi Phi - The reason we say we went to Maya Bay the next day is because you need to catch a boat from Koh Phi Phi to get there (it’s just the island next to it) but there’s no hotels there at all as it’s protected so you need to stay in Koh Phi Phi. We didn’t like the hotel we stayed at very much, but you can have a look at some options here: agoda.tp.st/9sgGf6b6

Do you guys have a full cost breakdown for this trip? Can this 14 days be done for $US100/day? Including accommodation or have Thailand prices jumped to 150-200 per day as well?

Hey! Yes, we think this can be done on $100 if you’re not too picky with accommodation. We were spending about $65 per night on pretty nice hotels, and about $15 per person per day for food. However to that you need to add any tours you do, which are normally about $25 per person, and any flights you may need to take. So if you go for cheaper hotels than we stayed at, I think you can definitely bring the cost down to $100 for one person 😊

Hi, My wife has an gluten allergy, so we are a little bit carefully with Asia, do you now how they are with gluten free in Thailand ?
@NALBATRAVELSАй бұрын
Hey! I (Alba) have a celiac brother and I can tell you that if I was to bring my brother to Thailand we would not eat out. You’ll be able to find some gluten free meals in restaurants, but it will be really hard to find a place that guarantees no cross-contamination. Perhaps in Bangkok in the more expensive hotels this can be found but in places like Phi Phi, Chiang Mai or Krabi it may be hard. However you can always stay in apartments and cook your own means if you cannot find gluten free options outside 😊 Hope this helps!
