Welcome back to another fall fishing videos. Today Cody and I are fishing Mille Lacs Lake for fall walleyes in shallow water. In this video I talk about how I select a plastic to catch more walleye while jigging. This tip in my experience can be the different between catching some and catching a lot of fish. Love your videos, Tom. I live in Southern Minnesota on a "plate" lake that is a decent walleye fishery. This lake has virtually no structure except for one long rock bar and is a pretty uniform 7-8 feet deep. What would be the best way to fish a lake like this?

I wish Livescope was Illegal as we will end up depleting the resources. If down scan and side scan is not enough buy a pool stock it and fish it. IMHO

What you are talking about are 2 separate things you view as issues. 1. Does technology help you catch fish.... yes . This is nothing new. Technology has been improving for years. SI, FFS, DI, Mapping. All these pieces of tech, when fully understood, help anglers figure fish out. 2. Will forward facing kill walleye lakes? Side imaging would kill every walleye lake if people were allowed to keep every fish they caught. Because you catch em.... doesn't mean you gotta keep em. It's 2 separate issues .

@@TomBoley You are correct if you catch them you don't have to keep them, but unfortunately some lakes down South are all ready seeing the populations of them decreasing Fast and unfortunately Game Departments react very Slow. Here a ? When will technology be to much ? Because it's coming on Fast
