How to Select a Specific Record in a Subform in Microsoft Access

In this Microsoft Access tutorial, I'm going to show you how to open a form and select a specific item in its subform. For example, if you have a list of orders, you can select one specific order and then open up the customer's form which may have a subform on it with all of his orders. That specific order will then be selected.
Cara from Tulsa, Oklahoma (a Platinum Member) asks: I have a continuous form showing a master list of all of my orders sorted by date. Is there a way I could double-click on an order, have it open the customer's form, and then on that customer form select that specific order from the order subform on that form?

Hi Richard another great video again! Could you please help me to creat a login screen when access database load up one of my friends has access database which did not build form some of is workers keep changing things in the database and have deleted them! I have done what you have mentioned in previous video by locking items but they seem to have got round that. So I thing off a login screen to cut down the usage off staff who use this database,he has only had this company for 2 years and not ready upgrade to more advance system.
