Yes, I love juicing cranberries when they are in season. The juice can be quite strong if you are drinking it straight. I like juicing apples and cranberries together to help make it sweeter.

absolutely, a blender can run up to 27,000 RPMs. My favorite juicers are slow juicers, often running at 80 RPMs, so there is much less oxidation. I hope to make a video comparing juicing with a blender vs a juicer soon to outline the differences.

I agree. I shop where the grocery stores and restaurants shop to purchase produce in bulk, that was beyond the scope of this video. I did cover that in this video: watch?v=vIP-EJrn9Mo

That was a great video. I thought limes were better green. I also made a juice the other day and when I realized my pears were a bit too hard, I didn't juice all of them thinking they weren't ripe enough. I pretty much got most of the stuff completely backwards. :) I'm saving this to my favorites to watch again. Thanks.

Another tip? I do shop at Restaraunt Depot and buy by the case for all produce. Just have any sort of a business license, and you can buy a great deal of produce!!

YES, you can grow food in apartments or on small balconies in containers, now you may not be able to grow "all your food" but growing something is better than growing nothing.

THIS VIDEO IS SO HELPFUL!!!! Thank You for making it. The Markets in my area DO NOT have things labeled nearly as well as that store you;re in. Even the Whole Foods is Small. They have hardly any ORGANIC secitions :(:(: Can Apartment-dwellers with a small balcony grow carrots or green veggies ?? OR do most of them need LAND/space ?

I find beets and celery to be too powerful but I really like kale. Eat your fruit, drink your vegetables! And what about cranberries? Bags are cheap and, I find, they juice nicely...at least in a mix.

I juice, blend and chew my food well, which are the best juicers of all. For further information, please see: watch?v=fmrMpG-QlNc

thx so much for all your advices in your videos. I'm from germany and all your videos helped me alot to do right :)... meanwhile I prefer only organic greens also they are much more expensive.

Do you only use the juicer to make your vegetable juices or do you use a blender as well?

I rarely juice sweet potatoes. Of course, drinking sweet potato juice is better than drinking a soda, but I would rather have a green juice instead.

Im not exactly sure what industry is doing. So I say GROW your own, and you KNOW how its grown, and whats sprayed on it. After that, support a local farmer that you can VISIT their farm to see their growing practices. Otherwise, do the BEST you can. I have harvested FRESH lettuce from my garden it it sometimes has a "clear" layer that can be peeled off, it seems to be more prominent in the cold weather. That being said, Im not sure if "they" are spraying plastic on lettuce or not.

If you do not like the taste of celery, juice less of it. It can be hidden by some extent by juicing a larger quantity of other items. Put a little ginger in there, and you will no longer taste the celery..

I wish our organic produce was so cheap! I pay 2-4 times that here. So I often have to make a choice to get non-organic foods.

Is the taste of celery hidden by other ingredients? I could never stand the smell or taste of it but so many people swear by I don't want to not use it, could someone recommend another ingredient the cancel out the taste, thanks.
