Have you thought about selling in Europe? 🌍
@RezaSyedIslam4 жыл бұрын
I'm a UK FBA Seller. Dan, for a foreigner (I'm guessing you're in the US) you have explained EU surprisingly well but I'd add you have to pay additional Taxes in the respective countries if you are STORING goods there (you would via PAN). I generally prefer using Amazon.co.uk to store and ship. And I also use Amazon to ship to Germany etc if I sell on Ebay. Neat having one 'Live' inventory without using third party software! Love to see a video from you on Amazon Australia and how they are competing strongly with Ebay Australia!

Thanks for the valuable information. Would the rules change after Britain exits from the EU? We're currently selling in the US and are wondering if sending inventory to the UK is still the best way and also the set up for VAT. How all this will change after Brexit?

Great tutorial, it was very helpful! Would you consider making another video about VAT implications when signing up to the PAN European FBA? Do I have to be VAT registered in each European country + UK where I will be selling my products? I am worried it can be quite complicated and also expensive ... thanks

I'm in the same boat. There are very good Amazon accountants that can help do this + more. "theaccountancy.co.uk " and "ecommerceaccountants.co.uk" are the two I'm thinking about. Good luck!

Hi Dan, I love your content so much, you helped . me from day selling on Amazon. I just launched my first PL product two week ago on the US platform. At one point would you recommend to take this product to the German platform? Once I rank on page 1 organically or it doesn't matter and just go for it right away? Also wanted to ask a question on a different topic. What follow up email service do you use? Thank you so much!
@DanRodgers5 жыл бұрын
Hey Edina! Good questions! 1. I would focus on scaling your current product on the US first, you'll most likely experience a cash flow pinch on the re-order so expanding right away would pronounce this. Get that product rolling in the US first and after order 2 or 3 you can consider expansion :) Reviews are also temporarily transferrable between certain markets. 2. For follow up emails, I have used FeedBack Genius but now use another, lesser-known tool called MySellerPal as it also offers coupon code landing pages.

Hello. I've looked everywhere and I can't find the answer to this question: if I sell on Europe and my warehouse is in Spain. When a customer in France buys my products and then decides to return it how do i get my return back? Does Amazon returns it to Spain and then I do a removal order?

@@DanRodgers okay, because I would like to do the same. do you send it to US FBA centers or do you get the Manufacturer to do that? this is my biggest sticking point to this whole FBA thing, if I can solve this then I am all systems GO! so any advice would be amazing :)
@DanRodgers4 жыл бұрын
@@henosis99 the best approach, in my opinion, for speed and streamlining, is ask your supplier if they have a partnered freight forwarder they can use to ship the goods. This way you're, effectively doing both manufacturing and shipping with the supplier. Donwload your FNSKUs from the listing and send to supplier to put onto each unit. When the goods are ready, get the shipment details from the supplier (how many cartons, how many units per carton, size of cartons etc), then on seller central, complete your shipping plan (I have a video on this explaining it all), then send the supplier the shipping labels to affix to the cartons. The supplier will make sure it ships straight to the FBA warehouse in USA, no need for it to come to UK, too expensive. :)
@DanRodgers4 жыл бұрын
@@henosis99 send it straight to the FBA warehouse in USA from the manufacturer. Most suppliers have partnered freight frowarders and you can ask the supplier if they can also ship it for you, so you're doing both manufacturing and shipping with them. Can someone answer my very important question? If you aim for 40% profit on products over £25, is that including shipping or before shipping? So basically, when you calculate your profit margin must you include shipping??
@DanRodgers5 жыл бұрын
Yes, your margin calculation includes everything except advertising giving you profit margin of 40% before ads. So: Sell price - Manufacturing per unit - International shipping per unit - FBA Fulfillment fee per unit - Amazon referral fee per unit = Profit per unit Profit per unit/Sell price X 100 = Profit margin
