The real estate market is crazy right now. Low inventory has created huge demand from buyers who have access to historically low interest rates. Even a global pandemic couldn't slow us down. So what are the benefits of VR and how can we use it to sell real estate?
Buyers are looking for every possible edge they can get in todays market. Offers are being made on properties sight unseen, and it's becoming even more difficult to schedule in-person showings because of COVID-19 and limits on traffic to the home. Imagine for a minute, being able to strap on a pair of VR goggles in the comfort of your home and tour 5, 10, or even 100 properties without having to leave the couch. With improvements to VR and its accessibility, this is no longer science fiction. Now buyers can enter the home virtually and experience it as if they were there.
Sellers are thriving in this environment, but the name of the game is still exposure. Attracting more qualified buyers means more potential offers, which results in getting them the highest price and best terms when buyers compete. Virtual reality is now supported on a number of the most popular real estate search engines. Marketing this type of immersive experience gives your sellers more exposure, just like hosting an open house. I've already received offers on properties based on the photos and videos alone. And I believe this type of VR experience will only become more interactive. Virtual Realty seems to be the logical next step, as more and more people now have access to the technology thanks to Facebook, and Apple (coming soon).

Love it ❤🎉 I've been doing vr tours for a while they are awesome customers love them too , easy to do yourself if you buy the right equiptment (360 camera) or phone with a lil rotating tripod attachment attatchment... we use nodalview but plenty of diy options.... Highly reccomend

crazy how most realtors are afraid of this tech, as opposed to adapting and using it to maximize their exposure! I guess its just to show that a lot of these realtors are not the brightest. Nice to see you taking advantage of it!

i check out some places online ..it still feel static pictures are very limited its just like having google map's in front of your face i believe we should use the tech to its full potential and go out interactive with natural ambient sound

Not that I've seen, but I'm sure it's coming. Google has their Google Glass AR glasses, and some other big name companies like Microsoft are working on products as well.

Could be your connection. It’s much smoother using the headset. Technology is getting better and faster so your experience should improve over time.

Still very non-usable. It's not truly VR. Looks like taking today's 3D tour flat screen pics and display onto VR lenses. I think you'll need a more powerful gaming PC and capture/render more successive videos in order to do truly 'walkable' VR house tour. I am not sure if today's hardware is cost effective enough to even do this.

Thanks for the feedback. VR technology is quickly changing and improving, even since creating this video only a year ago. I'm sure in the future, it will be possible to "walk" through a home and even have interactions. But todays technology and costs do limit what is capable. If you're not able to physically go tour a home, this is certainly better than looking at flat images on Zillow or even a Matterport tour on a flat phone screen. If you've experience VR, you know the feeling of being able to turn around and experience the feeling of being in another environment. And although this is rudimentary, and not "realistic," it's still pretty cool. Even if it's a novelty.

@@RealCreativeGroup Searching through KZbin, this is probably the closest I've seen.....kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp2cooV6gruBiLs. But the whole graphics is still created on some gaming software. It's still not realistic and game-like. I think the future will be some sort of VR cameras mounted on VR helmet and realtors/videographers can walk through the house to capture the videos (probably by that time is not 4K/8K..probably 32K videos), so it can display at least 30 fps at whatever the resolution by that time. So the hardware demand to process and store these type of very high-definition and frame-rate videos will be so much higher than today's hardware. We are just not there today and not sure how long this will take. You can see Zuckerberg spent $10 billion dollars and his Metaverse VR videos are still cartoon-like.😂

@@cryptoinside8814 very cool. Thanks for sharing. Definitely a rendering vs an actual scan. Some new home builders are creating these, but for conventional resale it doesn't make sense.
