How to send a fax from iPhone or iPad? In this tutorial, I show you how to easily send free faxes from an iPhone or iPad. This means you can sign documents and then fax them all from your iPhone. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions while you send faxes from your iPhone.

This tutorial requires the usage of the app Easy Fax - Send Fax from Phone. Easy Fax currently has great ratings on both the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store. EasyFax allows for free faxes through credits earned by watching short ads. Each watched ad earns 2 credits and it cost 10 credits to send a one page fax. There is also an option purchase credits.
Follow the steps below to send free faxes from your phone:
How to Earn Free Faxes on iPhone:
1. Open the Easy Fax - Send Fax from Phone app
2. In the EasyFax app select the menu button in top left of the screen
3. Select Get Free Credit
4. Once the video loads, select Watch Video
5. After you complete the video you will earn 2 credits
How to Send Free Faxes from iPhone:
1. Open the Easy Fax - Send Fax from Phone app
2. On the main screen of the app, select the document type at the button of the screen. The options will be PDF, Image, or camera to take a new picture / scan. If you select an image or take a new picture you will have the option to crop and adjust the contract.
3. Once you have included all of the pages for your fax select the arrow button on the top right of the screen.
4. Now enter your fax phone number, fax header, and fax cover letter.
5. Once completed send your fax by selecting the arrow in the top right of the screen.
6. The fax will now be sent from your phone. This can take up to 10 minutes to complete. The app will show a Success notification if the fax was successful.
7. You have now sent a free fax from your phone!

For some reason, agencies requiring faxes think a fax is so much more secure than email, etc because it’s supposedly “point-to-point” from a sender’s fax machine to the recipient’s fax machine. They are afraid of Internet hacking. That outdated paradigm completely disregards that few people have actually physical fax machines nowadays and instead use Internet fax services where the sender uploads files via Internet to a fax service which then sends a fax to the recipient by traditional fax phone call. The recipient probably doesn’t have a physical fax machine, so the incoming faxes are instead stored as files on a server. Even if there are two physical fax machines involved between sender and recipient, with an actual point-to-point fax phone call connection between them, the “security” of this setup disregards how easy it is to intercept phone calls, and completely disregards that anyone who has access to the recipient’s fax machine has access to any sensitive data on the fax pages. A secure email messaging system instead of faxing between sender and receiver seems at least as secure as a fax. Entry into the recipient’s email system can be monitored and restricted to only those authorized to receive sent documents from the sender.

I just tried this app. Process was step by step according to the video….thumbs up from me! The app gave me 40 credits upon downloading. I did have to watch a few 20 second videos to get enough credits-it 10 credits per page and the cover sheet did also require the 10 credits. Received a confirmation email that it was sent successfully!

yes, when you open the file in my case a pdf file, push the arrow on the right top, and look through the icons, you will see the app logo of EasyFax, automatically will open the app with the file already attached, then proceed.

I know it’s crazy but my wife just passed away and all the insurance companies want everything faxed they say sending through emails not secure then I sent them a fax and of course they can’t read it so I had to end up mailing everything to them. Doesn’t make any sense.
