I spent all day today, January 17, 2024 trying to open a wise account and creating a us balance. Its not possible using your jamaican address. You have to delete the original account you made with jamaican address and create a new one, different email address.. with a US address. It's a process. You'll be required to: Have a US address Take a picture of your jamaican ID and upload Take a selfie for them to match with ID Have a card ready to pay USD21 so that you can get bank account info. You won't need the social security number. Will take a bit for them to confirm payment before account can be ready to use. Hope this helps someone.

You would have to change the country from Jamaica to US, thats the only way you can get your USD account info
